The DIS Maintenance System (DMS) will be hosted on the Local DPM server or any other computer machine available with Participants including back-office system of the Participant. Hence, Participants are not required to procure separate hardware for hosting DMS. In order to use this facility, Participants will have to access DMS (http://dismaintenance.nsdl.co.in) with Log-in ID and password.
Depository Account Validation (DAN) is a secured internet based facility. This system allows subscribers such as Book Running Lead Managers, Syndicate Members and others to validate and verify the DP ID, Client ID and PAN of investors through a file upload. By using the DAN system, Book Running Lead Managers, Syndicate Members, and others can ensure accuracy and validation of investor details before processing transactions.
NSDL facilitates the conversion of mutual fund units between physical and electronic formats. Investors benefit from this as it allows them to switch between physical certificates and electronic holdings based on their preferences or regulatory requirements.

As Participants are aware that the Local DPM system is deployed at the premises of the Participants, on a server. The Local DPM system is accessed by the Users of the Participants through Client machines. The Local DPM System facilitates Participants with Client Creation / Modifications, uploads and downloads of files and provides access to wide range of reports. NSDL has facilitated Participants to migrate their Local DPM System on NSDL Cloud (Private Network). Participants will now have the ability to access their Local DPM System on NSDL Cloud instead of premises
Yes, Currently, this facility is available for Participants having database size of up to 75GB. Hence, Participants with the Local DPM system database size up to 75GB or less can apply to NSDL for migrating to NSDL Cloud DPM system.
No, Participants who subscribe to NSDL Cloud DPM system facility will not be required to take database backup. The backups will be taken by NSDL.
The primary mode of connectivity will be MPLS and fall back would be internet.
Participants will be required to upgrade their MPLS to a minimum bandwidth of 1 MBPS.
Participants will be required to have a Desktop machine and MPLS connectivity to connect to Cloud DPM System.
It will be maintained by NSDL for NSDL Cloud DPM System. However, Participants will be required to update the antivirus of their desktop machines.
NSDL will apply the version releases on NSDL Cloud DPM System.
Participants can track every report on the download/search screen using a ‘Request ID’. Once the report is ready, a link will be enabled for Participants to download the reports.
Participants will be required to transfer latest database backup to NSDL via SFTP. After receiving the database, NSDL will migrate it to NSDL Cloud DPM system
