An Investors Guide to Claim Unclaimed Shares and Dividends

Investor’s Guide to Claim Unclaimed Shares & Unpaid Dividends.
Many investors are unaware that their shares or dividends may remain unclaimed due to reasons such as outdated bank details, change in address, or simply forgetting about old investments.

Under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, such unclaimed dividends and related shares are transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) after a specified period.

To help investors understand the process and reclaim what rightfully belongs to them, NSDL Investor Protection Fund Trust, in collaboration with SEBI, IEPF Authority, and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, has created this comprehensive guide.

This booklet explains how investors can check, claim, and recover their unclaimed shares and unpaid dividends through the official process
