NSDL initiated a disaster relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction project named as ‘Project SAHYOG’ to support the needy communities in distress during any sort of natural calamities or emergency situation. As a socially responsible corporate, we strive to extend the need based and timely support whether monetary or non-monetary to the communities in distress. Some of the efforts include distribution of relief material during floods and supporting the rehabilitation activities in the flood affected regions.

The key objective of our Livelihood/Skill Development Project named as ‘Artha SAMARTH’ is to skill or up-skill the youth by imparting sector specific skillsets as per industry demands and further, providing the livelihood linkages through employment or entrepreneurship. Primarily, NSDL and its group companies impart BFSI sector specific skills to the targeted youth who have great potential to serve the sector.

We believe that every individual deserves a basic healthcare and a good health shall foster the community growth and thereby build a strong nation. Our health projects aim to provide diagnostic, curative as well as preventive healthcare including primary healthcare services in the communities. Through our initiatives, we have been able to increase access to basic medical services and also to augment awareness on health and nutrition among the targeted communities.

Educational projects aim to support and strengthen the education system in the project area. Through need based projects, NSDL has been implementing various innovative projects and initiatives to impact the first generation learners to ensure that they continue their schooling, learn essential life skills and also decrease school drop outs & absenteeism. The initiatives include infra support to enable effective learning environment for the students in schools, mid-day-meal to the students, academic scholarship, etc.
