NSDL IDeAS facility facilitates Brokers/CMs to get the feed of their CM Pool Accounts irrespective of the DP with whom they maintain the CM Pool Accounts. Such open system architecture has facilitated the brokers to easily shift their CM Pool Account from one DP to another and access IDeAS facility easily.

With the advent of T+1 and current increase in the volume of transactions handled by brokers, it is important for every broker to ascertain the shortages and keep their back office system. The fetching of feed from IDeAS facilitates brokers in various ways:

The system of IDeAS is augmented to provide Brokers/CMs with feeds/response pertaining to block mechanism wherein securities that are blocked in the Client accounts can be ascertained for required update in the back office system.
