‘Health’ being one of the core CSR areas, NSDL has initiated Project Sanjeevani- Mobile Medical Unit which is a clinic on wheels serving the most vulnerable communities by providing preventive, curative and diagnostic healthcare services. The project shall be implemented in the urban as well as rural areas based on community need and health profiling.

Health care system is one of the basic requirements of every community. Most of the slum areas in our country, till date, are with poor health infrastructure. The Mobile medical unit is gradually proving to be instrumental in addressing the needs of slum areas, particularly for low-income and marginalized populations. By running mobile health units, NSDL strives to ensure better access and timely help to the needy at their doorstep.

Through mobile medical unit, NSDL shall provide need based primary healthcare services in the underprivileged communities by adopting the approach of multi-stakeholders engagement.

The Mobile Medical Unit is equipped with the state-of-the-art diagnostic and curative facilities  with team of doctors, lab technician and pharmacists.
